Weekly Review

Reflections

Richer

  • Spent nearly 3,500 AED. Spending less not impacted. Covered several monthly expenses this week.
  • Got an unexpected $1,750 refund from AIW. Could have gotten more.

More Powerful

  • No, not in any meaningful way. Some internal wins. But reach and influence has not grown in the past week.

Happier

  • Faced a lot of nervousness and anxiety addressing areas I've been avoiding. Wasn't pleasant, but proud of it. Broke the enemy's back, and now it's easy.

Stronger

  • More consistent in the gym. More fat. Boxing sparring with Nico will improve my boxing.
  • Not tracking progress in the gym well. For now, it's fine. Other priorities.
  • More cardio has shown improvement in HRV and RHR again.

Wiser

  • Learned from Nico: I'm an inconsistent and emotionally driven opponent. If I could stay in state more I would be extremely difficult to beat.
  • Distraction is the enemy even more. Phone. Book. Game. Anything that isn't the intention in the moment. Going to battle with this opponent next week.

Acting Smarter

  • Followed habit board less. Didn't progress towards business goal. Finally handled finances and understand my money position.

Did I Have the Week I Planned?

  1. No formal week assessment recorded for this week.

Changes to Implement

  1. Track spending in KPI sheet every day. Add to evening habit tracker.
  2. Add smiling, laughing to AM tracker.
  3. Continue going to the gym consistently and lifting heavy. Take gym clothes to Ritz, change at UFC, run up the building when arriving home.
  4. Stop listening to books or engaging in other distractions when working. When I work, I should work.
  5. Begin working with Claude Cowork and leverage AI for greater productivity.
  6. Go offline more. Read instead of playing games.
  7. No screens late in the evening. Replace with positive offline activities: reading, stretching, meditation, writing, reflecting, journaling, calling parents/Anu/friends.
  8. Focus much more on Upwork and its performance.
  9. Contact every SSG lead and see if there's an opportunity to work with them again.
  10. Make good use of Business Initiative Tracker to bring things to completion.

Future Pacing

Extremely good, so long as there's tangible output. Business is improved, got a lot done, more opportunities, allocated time well. Time and focus allocation is what I want to continually improve. I want to be a master operator who can move mountains with massive leverage. Implemented knowledge as a fulcrum.

Implementation Actions

  • Update habit tracker this evening at 8:30pm (AM laughter, AM protein shake, AM check fridge, PM update KPI sheet, PM set aside clothes and pack bag with gym clothes) - DONE
  • Remove headphones and put them in the case on the table every time I begin to work - PARTIAL
  • Open Upwork when arriving at the Ritz in the morning and review performance - PARTIAL
  • Enter UFC gym each day when leaving the Ritz - DONE
  • Change into gym clothes when arriving at UFC gym - NOT DONE
  • Run up building each day when getting home from the gym, before eating lunch - PARTIAL
  • Put down screens and call someone at 10pm each day to protect sleep, during which prepare for next day - NOT DONE

Wiser Lessons

Week 7

  1. Learned from Nico: I'm an inconsistent and emotionally driven opponent. If I could stay in state more I would be extremely difficult to beat.
  2. Distraction is the enemy. Phone. Book. Game. Anything that isn't the intention in the moment.
